    Summary

Mr Blue Sky, please tell us why, you had to hide away for so long...

After five years, Malfoy had finally escaped house arrest, and he moved in just a few streets down from Grimmauld Place. Overnight, the Daily Prophet seemed to fall in love with him. For his charity work, and his charming smile, and—Harry was sure—his prattish fucking personality. No matter how hard Harry tried, he couldn't stop running into him.

Harry had bigger problems, though. His best friends in the world were having a baby together, which was fantastic, except that they weren't sure Harry could hold it together well enough to be Godfather.

But despite Malfoy being flat broke, with a dead dad, and no one willing to risk hiring him, he appeared to be completely in control of the narrative surrounding his newfound freedom. Maybe Harry could learn a thing or two from the best of the best.

After all, he had the entire pregnancy to convince Ron and Hermione he was perfectly, entirely, 100% fine. If sometimes he had to fistfight Malfoy about it, well, that was nothing new.

Like ships passing in the night…

Ginny and Lee see each other once, twice, thrice in the months following Fred’s death.

Written for the Recipe Rec Fest, 2024. Includes a recipe for the best Banana Bread you’ll ever taste. Many heated apologies for the word count going so severely over the ideal. I was… how shall I say, enthusiastic?

    Summary

Harry Potter only wants one thing: to take care of the people he loves. After Teddy’s abrupt departure from his role as Andromeda’s caretaker, Harry decides it’s finally time to step up and handle the job himself.

Castoff Manor, an old Black family estate, has never seemed as sinister as the stories make it sound, but it’s there that Harry stumbles upon ghosts, haunting family secrets, and a familiar, snarky blond gardener hell-bent on chasing him out. Maybe if Harry sticks around long enough, he’ll finally learn why all of Andromeda’s previous caretakers have fled without looking back.

    Summary

It’s not Draco’s fault that Potter is seeing things, it’s not.

Draco didn’t ask for Potter to show up fifteen years after they last saw each other, demanding to know why the Spectroculars Draco invented malfunctioned while Potter was painting and cost him an eye.

Scorpius hadn’t asked for that either, though, so when Potter and the rest of Draco’s patients begin seeing mysterious symbols through their prosthetic eyes, and the resulting blow to Draco’s public reputation drags Scorpius’s political campaign through the mud, Draco is determined to fix it.

If that means trudging through a boggy moor in search of a fictional species Luna thinks is causing their problems, Draco will just have to pluck up the courage, march in with a team of Gryffindors, and be ready to battle any beast they meet.

Even if that beast looks less like the large, bipedal talking toads they find and more like the Ministry of Magic as a whole.

    Summary

Weasley's Wizard Wheezes is in trouble.

And Harry’s the only one who seems to care. Ron and Ginny are still grieving over the loss of Fred, and Hermione’s all the way in Australia, so it’s up to him to assemble a team and save the shop.

Now all he needs is to get Draco Malfoy to give him a good rating so the Ministry won't shut it down. But how the hell is he supposed to do that?

    Summary

Harry Potter, accomplished Auror, is getting married. Or, he will be, when his twenty-five question, scientifically valid survey (developed by Hermione) yields a candidate (see: The Potter Project). Designed to filter out the pureblood elitists, the smokers, the vegans, and the crup haters, Harry's questionnaire is, truthfully speaking, a last resort.

    Enter Draco Malfoy.
Harry doesn't even consider him for the Project seeing as he's.. you know... male, not to mention his school-boy rival, but he is drawn into Malfoy's quest to find the man who murdered his father (see: The Malfoy Murder Mission). When something like a friendship develops between the old enemies, Harry must confront the feelings he's been running from his entire life and the decidedly unreasonable conclusion that Draco Malfoy just might be who he's been looking for all along.

Directly based on The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. I claim no ownership of the premise or the story line, though all deviations are my own. Characters are from the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling.
