    "Stephen increased his speed as he added on to his spell. This world was going to lose its Peter Parker, but there was plenty of worlds that could benefit from gaining one. Worlds where Peter Parker didn’t already exist. Worlds where the kid could be awarded a fresh start and hopefully find a new family to lean on, far away from the ghosts of his past.

    After all, a soldier could not heal when they were still trapped on the battlefield."

    After Strange’s spell, Peter was lonely and got reckless. He stopped caring about himself so much with no one left to care. This led to riskier and riskier moves until he made one he couldn’t walk away from.
    Peter wakes, drowning. Suddenly, he’s 14 years old again in a strange city that is weirdly familiar. Even though no one knows him still, a few seem oddly interested. All he wants is to stop feeling so damn angry all the time.

    Will frowns back. “You didn’t do anything wrong.”

    Mike doesn’t look like he believes him. Will doesn’t blame him. “Then why do you keep leaving?”

    The world ends, and then some. Mike and Will find each other again, amidst the debris and distance.
