Summary
Mark is practically the embodiment of the heart-eyes emoji as he watches Chenle feed Renjun a strawberry from a piece of cake before he takes a bite himself. “I just love love,” he chuckles, smiling to himself as he scoops up another bite of nachos.
Jisung feels his stomach suddenly lurch and he lowers his fork back down to his plate, the scoop of coleslaw sliding off as he’s faced with his new realization.
Renjun and Chenle’s relationship is a display of possibilities. The possibilities for him and Mark that Jisung had never let himself fully consider before. Jisung suddenly realized that just because he had never imagined a relationship for himself, doesn’t mean he doesn’t desperately want one. It doesn’t mean that he couldn’t have a public-facing relationship with Mark.

“Sorry,” Jisung says, quickly grabbing as many plushies as he can from the top of his bed. He piles them under his arm before rushing over to his closet, trying to shove them behind the magnetic folding doors and into the pile of flannel shirts that have fallen off their hangers and onto the floor.
He’d been in a rush to get out the door that morning after sleeping through his alarm, and had forgotten to hide them away.
“It’s fine,” Jeno laughs, playfully spinning himself around in Jisung’s fancy gamer chair. “They’re kind of cute even,” he adds. “Like you.” Jeno stops spinning, and smiles up at Jisung, who is currently trying and failing to look casual as he leans against the edge of his bed. Jisung briefly wonders if Jeno has made himself dizzy.
“Was that too corny?” Jeno laughs, eyes crinkling up further into that classic crescent shape. “Obviously, I’m not that great at flirting.”
Jisung wills himself to stop blushing as he shakes his head and twists his lips into a tiny grin.

“Damn,” Renjun says, his neck craning back as far as it can go as he looks up at the shiny 13-story mid-rise building with its massive, floor to ceiling windows.
“It’s cute, right?” Chenle smiles, squeezing Renjun’s hand. "Looks just like the online listing."
Renjun can only half-shrug, because ‘cute’ isn’t exactly the right adjective to describe this building, or really any building within a five-block radius. Luxurious, maybe. Or perhaps opulent would fit better.
Just then, Larry – dressed to the fucking-nines in a dark blue suit that makes Renjun think of Chenle’s navy sheets and the mix of lube, spit, and cum currently drying on them - comes around the corner.

“I’m Mark,” the guy says, leaning back and making himself comfortable on the worn leather. He crosses his leg and lifts his hands behind his head, looking Jisung over.

“And you must be?” Mark asks, pointing to Jisung. He smiles and searches Jisung’s face like he’s trying to place him.
“Jisung Park,” he replies, sitting up straighter in the sinking couch cushion.
“Ah, of course - one of our new rookies,” Mark says, extending his hand across to Jisung. “Nice to meet you.” Mark’s handshake is unsurprisingly firm.

Jeno doesn't mind at all. In fact, this is what he wants—sitting here, kissing Renjun in his dark apartment with nothing but the moonlight illuminating the room, half empty takeout containers in front of them.

A few moments pass before there’s another noise, a whimper leaves Jeno, so soft and breathy Renjun barely catches it. It’s only then he notices the movement under the blankets, the shape of his knees shifting under the wool.
