“Of course. State your terms,” said Neuvillette calmly, hoping to conceal the nervous energy that was taking hold of him as he apprehended the price he would have to pay.
Wriothesley was still smirking when he spoke. “All I want from you… Is to spend a relaxing evening with me over some drinks. To celebrate our victory.”
What starts as an innocent request shapes into something not so innocent.

Summary
The Department of Magical Education has twisted Albus Dumbledore's arm and have required the Headmaster to get a second teacher for each core subjects at Hogwarts. Severus Snape almost weeps with relief at the news.
But the school year is not without other far interesting events.
With young Harry Potter starting his first year at Hogwarts, new (surprisingly competent) teachers, a suspicious Albus, and a rare and powerful artifact hidden inside the school, Severus wonders if he ends up trading less homework for even more stresses in his life.
Or, this author finds that having 7 teachers for each 7 core subjects for all 7 years for all 4 houses is, frankly, insane, and is here to remedy that.

This story plays in an alternative universe, where Snape left Hogwarts before he even finished his fifth year and came back after almost sixteen years with two children in toe. An universe where not everything seems what it looks like.----
