Summary
When Mark Lee caught wind of a sea creature raising hell on his crewmates, he hadn't quite expected to find himself married to it just years down the line. He also hadn't quite expected him to be so lovely about it.

Summary
The year is 2999 and he's been here for twenty of those, but Jaemin has never gotten used to the city that never sleeps — once he's on the ground again, pulling the coat tighter around himself, he looks up at the skyscrapers shining in green, red and blue for eternity. In a sense, everything around here is like this; once the sunlight is gone, everybody's bound to be a little pink, illuminated by LED screens and neon lights, and Jaemin thinks he likes it like this.
Alternatively: when intergalactically famous Mark Lee appeared into his life, Jaemin never thought he'd survive the crash — not that that stopped him from stepping down the pedal harder.

Summary
This place will never, ever, get better and things will never be alright.
But — but. Andrew hates himself for the but. The last time he had anything aside from his own spine to hold himself up, Andrew had ran his body raggedy trying to keep it. He doesn’t know at which point he became a creature of habit; he doesn’t know why he’d put himself through this again. He doesn’t know why he’d handle Neil the knife and tell him just where to cut, but he did and he has and he will continue to do so until it kills him or Andrew kills it first.
Alternatively: The Foxes in hindsight, through Andrew's perspective.

Summary
“Yeah, well. Now the only consequences to deal with from yesterday are that I turned into a maiming beast at the mere sight of anger. Very fun.”
He rolls his eyes, lightly throwing his body against Jeno’s shoulder to destabilize him. “Shut up about being a maiming beast, will you? I told you people love dogs.”
“I’m not a dog,” he huffs, farthering the distance between them. “I’m… A wolf, I guess."
Mark hums, eyes lighting up once they step into the school, the hallways full to the brim with transiting teenagers and their own little worlds. “Well, think of it as a second puberty. Can’t say turning twelve didn’t make me a furry monster, myself.”
Alternatively: When Jeno shifted for the first time, everything else (Na Jaemin and Mark Lee included) came in the package. He can't really say he resents it.

Summary
"This place," the man motions his hands around. "Is not the purgatory. The real purgatory is a library where we write ongoing human history into files, those of which God uses to judge where they fit based on their morality, life conditions and opportunities."
"Well, are my reports good?" Donghyuck asks, resting a hand on the lawyer's knee, eyes round and hopeful.
Mark stares back at him with no expression. "No."
Alternatively: Donghyuck thought picking a fight with God would be the most inconvenient step to get to Heaven, but being rommates with angel Na Jaemin has risen to the challenge.

Summary
I guess so, Jeno mouths as he texts. Being closeted is just scary.
Jaemin's answer comes a few seconds later. Yeah, but it sure as hell isn't lonely! Imagine how many people around the world are closeted right now. There could probably be an entire country worthy of people in the closet.
Alternatively — a story about coming out and coming to terms.

Summary
"I'm sorry for tuning in late, but I hope those ten minutes without me made you realize I'm a loser," he starts, face close to his improvised radio equipment. The microphone is old and beaten down, but works most of the time. He has a recorder, for uploading episodes on Spotify if he ever feels like it; which is stupid, because Jeno has never wanted to do it, but he keeps it anyway. "Are you ready to have absolutely no fun with me?"
"Wow. Thirty two listeners today. I don't even have thirty two friends," he mumbles to himself, going through his inbox to see a handful of keysmashes and painful hahaha's. Some greet him, some agree, and it feels warm to be Jeno Lee on a little university dorm room, talking to strangers on the internet.
Alternatively: It always comes from Jeno's inner circle - or lack thereof.

Summary
Instead, Mark looks around the room awkwardly. "Yes, but… I'm a boy on purpose."
"Can you be my boy on purpose then?" Jeno blurts out, his brain to mouth filter failing him not for the first time that day. It's just - that's a common inner debate. Jeno doesn't believe in moderation or discretion when it comes to such things; he always thought that if it can be destroyed by love, it will. Sooner or later, but it will.
Or: What doesn't kill Jeno makes him want Mark even more.

Knowing what Mark knows, this is gonna change his world.
Or: Jeno is an angel. It's insane that people don't know.

Summary
"I love this," Jaemin whispers, voice drowsy. "I love this. It reminds me of why I stayed alive last summer," his own words are drowned somewhere between their blankets, glued to each other on two narrow single beds brought together in the center of the room.
"Stay alive, then," he answers, on the brink of delirium. From love or fatigue, he didn't know. "Let's be alive.""Okay," Donghyuck felt Jaemin nod. "Okay, let's be alive."
or, Jaemin and Donghyuck learn to leave the past behind. In their own way.

Summary
"What if your vampire relatives find us, though?" Jeno asks in laughter as Jaemin kisses down his neck. "Would they get angry at me for touching their baby?"
His voice is muffled by Jeno's skin when he answers. "Most definitely," the human shivers at the graze of fangs on his skin. "But I was your baby before I was theirs, wasn't I?"
Or: Jeno is not jealous of Jaemin's new vampire bodyguard slash mentor, Jaehyun. He's really not.

Summary
"Drink from me," Jeno demands on a whisper, climbing onto his lap so carefully he almost thought it wasn't happening. For a second, Jaemin wonders if this is a dream, but the weight on his thighs is too real and too close and too warm to be a fruit of his imagination.
The vampire blinks tiredly. "What?"
Or: the trials and tribulations of Jaemin's transition as a vampire.

Summary
Donghyuck would know. Every now and then, he catches himself wondering; what does Mark Lee smell like? How are his eyes from up close, his skin under his bedroom's broken lamp light? How would Mark Lee look on his messy sheets, trying to make his old Playstation work? How would Mark Lee look - if he were just one of the boys?
or: His neighbor, Mark Lee, has a thing for staying in his windowsill watching the sun. Donghyuck has a thing for him.
