Summary
I realized it has been SO LONG since I even touched "Defying Expectations" that I forgot I had Robin walk out on her wedding, so this chapter had no continuity with the rest of my story! 😂 Hence I'm posting it here as a few fic.
Here we've clearly got them post-TB dealing with the next Christmas after their disastrous ones the previous year. The chapter that eventually follows will likely be short but will follow right on the heels of this one.

Summary
Well, this was supposed to be for FicFest 2019, but I didn’t get around to it because I’m great at procrastinating. Hope you enjoy it! The prompt was "Going to Masham" (I wasn't feeling creative with the title!).
This is just a snippet of sweetness that has actually been in my head for a while, and the holiday presented the perfect opportunity to finally put it together.

Summary
This jumped into my head after reading NotMantheLessButNatureMore's "Family", and it had to be written, although not nearly at the same level of fluid writing.
I don't actually see Robin and Cormoran as having kids, but if they did, I think this is the kind of father he would be. He honestly reminds me a bit of my own husband, a big guy who gets way more bent out of shape than I do when something happens to our son because he wants to solve the problem RIGHT NOW and sometimes that's just not possible. I think Strike would act in much the same way.
The bit about the Arsenal match is taken from real life, except it was my husband at a hockey game.
