If she squints, Lux can see a hint of red appear on Jinx’ cheeks. And that gives her an idea that might result in Jinx actually doing some work. “Wait a minute, Jinx, are you blushing? From a little praise? That’s adorable.” It comes as a relieve when Jinx’ blush deepens, her plan doesn’t actually work if that didn’t affect Jinx.
“I am not blushing.” Jinx says, though the red on her cheeks says otherwise.
“You know what? If you’re really good for me today, I might even praise you again. Doesn’t that sound nice?” Lux knows she has just doubled down a few moments ago, but she’s tripling down now, and if this doesn’t work, she can forget Jinx doing anything at all for this project. “And all you have to is be good for the next hour or so, that shouldn’t be too difficult for you right?” Lux desperately needs this to work. Jinx actually participating will cut her workload in half, and if she has to stoop to flirting so be it.

Jinx survived the explosion narrowly, but it wasn't without cost, she was just barely able to cling to the edge of a cliff face after falling out the ventilation system.
However as she lay there she realised something, she couldn't feel her legs. She looked down and she saw one of that things claws stuck inside her stomach, guess the fake dad got the last laugh. She thought as she passed out from exhaustion.
The next time she woke up she was on an airship, the walls covered in fancy paintings that her broken mind scribbled all over, she knew the answer from back then, when Isha was around everything was clear and now, well now she had to live with the fact that she never even told her daughter that she was hers.
She may not have given birth to the little sump rat but hey neither Vander or Silco had given birth to her so it didnt matter, it was just her and the scratches now.

The subtle seething burn that always seemed to accrue in Jinx's eyes struck Lux with a moment of trepidation. In all the time they had known each other, Lux had never spoken so directly with her second, and this was rapidly becoming the most significant conversation they had ever had.
Jinx leaned back and leveled her gaze with a misplaced air of honesty. That too, was new and unknown enough to pique Luxs' interest. "That’s all that war was, and if anyone tells you otherwise they’re trying to scam you." She shrugged. "City living’s just tough like that."
