Summary
“I guess I underestimated the power of graduation,” Kise says, tugging at one of the loose threads of his ruined shirt as he examines the damage more closely. He gives Kasamatsu a once-over. “Senpai’s not missing any buttons?”
Kasamatsu snorts. “Unlike you, I don’t have a mob after me.”
Kise doesn’t miss a beat. “Too bad,” he says cheekily, thrusting his hands into his pockets. “If you lost any, I would’ve given you mine!”
The long overdue confession comes four graduations later, with three second buttons identical to the one Kasamatsu keeps in his wallet.

“Don’t waste the money,” Kasamatsu said, downing the rest of his beer. He pulled the bottle away from his mouth and thumped it down on the box closest to him, unaware that his upper lip was wet and that Ryouta wanted to lick it. He eyed the rest of the boxes. “I’ll build them.”
“What?” Ryouta blinked, caught off guard and feeling a little dumb by the firm finality in Kasamatsu’s tone. He blinked again and laughed, a little hesitant. Heat crept into his face. “Senpai, don’t joke. This is a party. I’ll hire someone. Or I’ll ask Akashicchi if he knows someone. Or I’ll sweet-talk Kagamicchi. You don’t need to worry about it.”
