But his body refused to let him sleep, his mind kept thinking about what ifs and what abouts. He was on the verge of breaking down, even he could feel it.

Keeping Hari secured with one arm, Minho smacks Chan’s chest repeatedly with the other, muttering curses under his breath as Chan laughs. Hari gets jostled between them. His face feels like it’s on fire. “Bang Chan!”
“Yes, Bang Minho?”
Chan catches Minho’s hand mid-smack, pressing it flat where his heart is. Minho’s heart jackrabbits just as fast as it did when he first heard those two words together and feels Chan’s own heart do the same under his palm too.

He takes careful bites of his beef and potatoes without ever taking his eyes off the book open on his lap. Large photographs of colorful lizards stare up at him from the pages. Sometimes, he’ll trail a finger down their spines. Does he imagine what they might feel like? Minho wonders. He takes a bite of his food with one hand and strokes his companion’s black hair with the other. The amount of food he can stuff into his round cheeks amazes Minho. It may seem creepy to spend dinner like this, unabashedly watching someone eat, but Minho supposes that’s just one of the disgusting habits love has made of him.
And God, does he love him.
