There’s a sudden, horrible cracking sound. The entire staircase shudders, then sways.
Katsuki swings his head back around and only has time to register the horror on Deku’s face before he feels something big and solid collide with the back of his head. His vision immediately goes black. There’s a sensation of falling, heat, and suffocating pain.
Then nothing.

Deku runs into a burning building, because of course he does. Katsuki follows him, because of course he does.

Summary
The bus tips like a see-saw at the edge of the sinkhole. There are still five people inside.
Izuku does what he always does. His body moves before he can think. He sprints after the bus as it begins its descent into the abyss. He grabs the back of the bus with one hand and grips the edge of the sinkhole with the other, not thinking of the consequences.

Izuku has an eventful morning while trying to get to school on time, and ends up catching a bus - literally.

Summary
Levi stalks through the hallway towards the kitchen, determined to knock some skulls together if the cadets are causing trouble. Which they inevitably are. Brats.
He’s right to be concerned based on the barbaric noises coming from the kitchen as he approaches. Clattering silverware, splashing water, and shouts of increasing volume grate on Levi’s already fried nerves. It all crescendos into one violent crash that sounds like someone pushed a cart of plates down a flight of stairs. Dead silence follows, broken only by a panicked shout from Eren.
“...Krista!”
Shit. Levi hastens his last few steps to the kitchen door and whips it open.

After a mishap involving some broken glass in the kitchen, Historia finds herself alone with the Captain in his quarters as he tends to her wounds. She notes the Captain's gentle way of caring for her and realizes how kind he can be, in his own way.

I’ve never really seen the Captain laugh in this way. He’s removed his hand and is all teeth, head tilted back and eyes squeezed shut. I can’t help but laugh along with him, albeit a bit slack-jawed as I stare at the Captain’s smile. His real smile.

Summary
Midoriya trembles for another moment before dropping roughly to his knees.
Shouto is at his side in an instant. “Midoriya,” he says, placing a tentative hand on his shoulder and searching his face. Midoriya is still staring straight ahead at nothing, but now his lips are slightly parted. Shouto couldn’t tell from the street, but up close he can see that Midoriya’s breaths are shallow and rapid, like a frightened rabbit. He’s hyperventilating.
“Midoriya. What did she do? Did she use her quirk?” Shouto rakes his eyes down his friend’s body, searching for any sign of injury. He looks fine, aside from-
A violent shudder erupts through Midoriya’s body. His head lolls forward and Shouto has to grab him around the torso to keep his friend’s limp body from hitting the concrete.

Or, during a villain encounter, Midoriya is hit with a virus quirk that causes his body’s immune system to turn on him. He gets really sick really fast. Todoroki takes care of him while learning how exactly to comfort another human being and realizing that he is extremely touch starved.
