A variant of Tony Stark has managed to beat Loki to He Who Remains, and Tony being Tony finds a mechanical fix to the Loom issue. He takes over the TVA as the new Time Consultant and fixes the stuffy bureaucracy to his liking. While he’s moderately proud of himself for everything he’s accomplished, his god status at the end of time leaves him unsatisfied so he goes looking for… something.

Summary

Amid hunting monsters and trying to establish himself in his father’s eyes, Loki finds himself thoroughly distracted by American millionaire scientist Tony Stark. And when he realizes Stark might hold the key to end Britain’s suffering, Odin tasks him with securing the engineer’s help.

“Alright, alright, you got me,” Stark sounded exasperated, incapable of bearing the silence. “I will do one business meeting – as in the number one, a singular meeting – in exchange for dinner. Look at me, do you want me on my knees, begging? I just really want to pick your brain.”
“Wednesday,” Loki said automatically. “Eleven. Bor & Sons offices.”
“Done,” Stark said with a grimace. “Dinner on Friday, and I get to pick the place!”
Loki blinked at the mild chaos that Stark left in his wake and found that he hadn’t agreed to dinner, at all.
