When he’d first wandered in a few months ago, desperate for caffeine and a quiet place to work, he hadn’t expected to find anything special. The place was small, tucked away on a side street that most people passed without a second glance. But the moment he stepped inside, he felt like he’d found something rare.
The walls were lined with shelves full of mismatched mugs and dusty cookbooks, and the air smelled of freshly baked pastries and roasted coffee beans. Puffy herself, the owner, had greeted him with a grin and a hearty slap on the back that nearly knocked him off his feet. She’d insisted he try the strawberry milkshake, and he’d been hooked ever since.
But it was T0mmy who kept him coming back.
