“You’re right, though. It is warm in here.” Dabi’s tone is almost lazy. He strips out of the sorry excuse for a shirt in one surprisingly graceful motion, and Hawks’ throat goes dry as his eyes drag down his body. All the jewelry is gold today, safety pin-shaped barbells through his nipples and tiny golden stars at his hips. Hawks has the hysterical thought that he’d like to see if there’s more gold below the waistband of his pants before he shakes himself out of it.
“The leather pants are probably why you’re too hot,” he blurts, then instantly regrets all the life choices that brought him here.
Amusement flashes through Dabi’s eyes, and he takes a step closer before leaning in, tilting Hawks’ chin up with his fingertips. For one wild moment Hawks expects to be kissed.
“You want to get me out of my pants?” Dabi teases instead.

“Touya?” he murmurs sleepily, already starting to get out of bed.
He wanders out to the living room before drifting toward the light that’s on in the kitchen. Touya is at the counter, baking what looks to be far too many cupcakes. His hair is a mess, like he just rolled out of bed, and his forehead is clearly visible. He’s also completely naked except for an apron. Normally, that kind of thing would get Keigo’s blood rushing immediately, but there’s a haunted look in Touya’s eyes and a jerkiness to his movements that has him concerned, instead. He drifts over to Touya and curls his arms around him from behind, pressing a sleepy kiss to his shoulder. Touya startles before relaxing into him.
“I woke you up,” he says, and Keigo shrugs. He’s a significantly worse sleeper than Touya is, in general. Waking him up isn’t exactly hard.
“Are you okay?” he asks, pressing his cheek against Touya’s neck. Touya’s hands falter as he adds more ingredients to a mixing bowl, and then he sighs.
“Just dreams. Don’t worry about it, Birdie.”
