Summary
In May 2018, a devastating virus strikes Korea before spreading worldwide, wiping out half the population and turning the victims into flesh-eating zombies. As chaos unfolds, the Korean government announces that a vaccine could stop the epidemic but its creation requires sacrificing the rare individuals immune to the virus. A ruthless manhunt begins, led by a government in collusion with the elite, leaving the rest of the population to sink into despair and violence.
Amid this social and moral collapse, the members of the group Seventeen, preparing for their debut in Japan, find themselves trapped. What if one of them possessed the coveted immunity? Faced with a society where the powerful protect their privileges at the expense of the weak, they must choose: flee to escape an unjust system or sacrifice themselves to save a humanity that has already abandoned them.
