“It’s too much,” Link admits. “It’s too much all at once.” I don’t know how to deal with this, he does not say. He doesn’t have to, not when the silence overpowers the layout of the area and the house is forever one chair empty, a family portrait that will never be complete anymore.
Link buries his head into his arms, ears pinned back and shoulders tense. “I want things to return to how they used to be.” The words are rasped out, as if they are something to be ashamed of. “Before that cursed island, before the Oracles, and before Agahnim.”
Nima has nothing to say to that last sentence, for she knows nothing about going on adventures or being a hero, nothing about fighting or having the weight of a whole kingdom rest on your shoulders, or the sacrifices needed to be made to ensure everyone’s safety. She hates how she has no words of comfort or advice to offer.
or, Nima is not blind to how Link struggles after his travels. She can't watch as he deteriorates, as the sweet young boy he once was is washed away with someone unfamiliar and haunting. One day, she approaches him with the promise of company and a shoulder to lean on, and can only hope it's enough.

Summary
Nayru looks at the statue, hand keeping Link in place, and she continues her message. “The journey ahead will be unpleasant, and you're going to be bitter and angry for many years. But I need you to remember it’s all worth it. The memories, the laughter and tears, it’s all worth it.”
There's something ancient in her words as she regards Link, as if this is a message she has foretold countless times before. “You will live a happy life, but only if you fight for it. And Link, you always need to fight for it.”
Or, Legend forgets he can lead a happy life, but only if he lets himself. He needs to open up and trust those around him, but it's hard when all he can think of is how he's destined to fail as a hero, and that in the end, everyone leaves.

He had to believe it was the right thing to do; everyone fought so hard for this land, to have this spot of protection with black and yellow walls cradling them. It was worth it; dying for L’Manburg, sacrificing for it.
It had to be, but the grim expression on Wilbur’s expression had him doubting his decisions.

Summary
Alex Quackity: Look, Thomas Innit, or Tommy as he prefers to be called, killed Dream. This is not the question we are dealing with in this trial. We know where it happened, we know when it happened, we know he was the one who shot Dream point blank in the head. Those are all facts of this case. The question we are raising here is why it happened. The prosecution has suggested to you that it was done out of anger and hatred for the man who had been taking care of Tommy since he was 16.
