Summary
This atmosphere makes George want to cling to Max, to not let go. He wants to know where they stand. It’d be nice if he could just hold Max without having to worry about the implications of it. He’s scared, Max is scared, they’d both be better off if they could hold each other’s hands. That’s half the appeal of these ‘haunted’ attractions anyway, they offer an excuse for people to touch and comfort one another— and George would really like it if he and Max could be those people.
OR: Alex drags the whole apartment to a haunted corn maze for some good old fashioned roommate bonding. Max and George get separated, get scared, and figure things out along the way -

Summary
Oscar never quite knows what to do with himself around George. They can make small talk, or chat about driving just fine– anything beyond immediately falls flat. Then Oscar flies back with him on Air Fernando. It’s like someone has grabbed him by the ankles and hung him upside down, forcing him to look at George from a whole new angle.

After a few soft rubs to his scalp, George rouses, rubbing his head into Alex’s hand like a cat, smacking his lips as his eyelashes flutter against his cheeks. Alex smiles to himself and leans in close, softening his voice almost to whisper, “Hey there, Mr. Race Winner.”
George’s answering smile appears like a sunrise, growing slowly until it’s blinding, “Hmmm, hi ‘Lex.” His words are lazy, sliding into one another.

Summary
George can’t really remember when he first noticed it. It’s not a big deal, this hollow feeling he sometimes gets. It’s deep in his chest though and it does make him wince and want to whine. But he can handle it, it’s just one of those weird things, like how Alex won’t eat raw carrots and Lando can't really hop on his left leg. Anyway, he spends time with them, or with Max and Daniel, and Charles and Pierre, and the feeling goes away.
