Summary
In which a Hermione was born 19 September 1959 to the grandson of Hector Dagworth-Granger. Through luck she becomes the first witch Severus meets, and his life will never be the same. The story that we know might be different, but in some ways, the same.
This is not a time travel story; the only prior knowledge anyone has is their own fanon, but Hermione will be mostly the same. Tamora is also Hermione.

Summary
There's quite a bit that muggleborn Hermione Granger has to learn about the magical world, and as a teenager, she has a lot of growing up to do as well. Both seem to happen easier after Ronald Weasley turned Gryffindor House against her. With new friends, new adults she can trust, and her first friend Neville Longbottom by her side, Hermione finally gets to feel the normality she'd always wanted.
But trouble comes anyway. Harry Potter never held the patent on perilous tasks.

Hermione had given up trying to keep up; she bit through the pain and kept her own slow, steady pace. Ahead the group ran into the aisle, none of them even looking back to see if Hermione was still with them.
She felt rather than heard the body slide up to her, and in one swift motion her wand was taken from her. Someone whispered, from so close she could feel the breath caressing her ear, “Muddy, what's with the slow walk? Don't you want to be with your friends when they get caught?”
Hermione huffed, bitter and exhausted, “Well, if my friends,” the word laced with venom, “would ever listen, we'd not be here at all. And if they ever thought about my walking speed we'd indeed be together.”

After a meeting with the Swiss Ambassador, Harry's life changes while those that made his life miserable find out what it's like to deal with gnomes and upset goblins.
This will be a short six part story. Enjoy.
