The boy steps closer cautiously, as if Castiel might spook, as if he can even run.
If the boy gets close enough he can probably smite him. He’d have to get a hand on him first, which isn’t easy from his current position.
Fear boils beneath his skin as the boy gets closer. His skin burns gold and his eyes spark blue. Much less threatening with his wings and body limp on the side of a cave, blue grace pouring out the wounds on his wing. Blood and water smeared across his face from a cut above his eyebrow.
He’s close. Castiel can see his green eyes and the freckles dusting his face. The boy puts a hand on his wing. He’s not armed, or at least he doesn’t pull out a weapon. He doesn’t signal for the others either.
His hand moves down, in motion with the feathers. Castiel tries to pull his wing back, but stops.
He looks curious. Awed.---
Castiel's grace is depleting and the one thing that revives him is someone who wants to kill him.hiatus!
