Based on the news report, it sounded as though Arthur had woken up in a lake, miraculously healed, with no realization that a significant amount of time - 1500 years, give or take a couple of decades - and thrown himself and his sword at a car as soon as he’d seen one, likely believing it to be a monster of some kind. Entirely in character for his Arthur, all things considered.
If it’s really Arthur, a small, pessimistic voice in his head reminded him. It could just be a concussed, if well-equipped, LARPer or something, remember. Who happened to be swimming around in the lake you laid Arthur to rest in. That you've remained within an hour's walk of for the past 15 centuries or so. Waiting. A total coincidence. Don't get your hopes up.
