Summary
Todoroki Shouto will be a hero.
To be a hero, he will need to learn many things: how to fight and when to run, how to be kind and when to be strong, when to trudge determinedly onwards and how to recognize when it’s time to let go.
He will learn all these things.
He will be a hero.But for him to learn any of these things, he first needs to learn how to trust.
This is the story of how Todoroki Shouto learned to trust, learned how to be loved, and learned how to be kind to himself.

Petunia was furious. She stared into the puckered up face of her bawling nephew and thought, I hate you. But unlike her husband, who growled and suggested they ‘put the boy out of his misery’ by tossing him into the nearest body of water, Petunia looked at her nephew and thought: that’s not how you get revenge.
Or: Petunia takes a different route in raising Harry, and it changes everything. Revenge is, after all, a dish best served cold.
