Summary
Max knows where they stand with Sasha, very comfortably so, and takes great pleasure in the thing they’ve been able to build with her over their final year studying at Gallatin College. It is, after all, a rather fun thing, exhilarating and satisfying and without any proclamations of grandiose or stuffy expectation that might ruin it as of yet.
It is probably one of Max’s favourite things to indulge in most days, much to the stern chagrin of many others that keep watch over them.

Summary
Lan Wangji wakes to a world where Wei Wuxian is dead.
This is not surprising. He has been dead for several years. Torn to pieces by his own ghost soldiers at the Burial Mounds during the siege led by the Four Great Clans, there had been little else to expect other than his gruesome demise. So terrible was his fate that some speculated his spirit and soul had been destroyed too, with no hope of ever returning to haunt the living or come back for another life. Wei Wuxian, simply put, was no longer.
Every morning following that fateful day, Lan Wangji must come to terms with this all over again.
