Summary
Eight years is a long time. It could completely change a person - and Ghost thinks that's exactly what the years since the 141's formation have done to him. He remains the best of the best, as Price demands from all of them, but the bonds he has with his team far surpass anything he expected to have after the Roba mission. He is still a soldier first and foremost, but something dangerously human lurks beneath the surface.
More than anything, a brash, bright-eyed sergeant stands at his shoulder, and Ghost doesn't know what to do with him - never has.
OR, a story of subtleties, told in the only language Ghost still knows and the only language Soap can speak: devotion.

Summary
Simon "Ghost" Riley found solace in the predictability of military life. He preferred the endless routines of work and would rather die than suffer in stifling idleness.
So it's only right that the 141, his new teammates and unbearable superior officer, wished to see him dead.

Summary
The 141's mission to eliminate the head of the Zaragoza cartel goes horribly wrong, and ends with Soap and Price captured. They’ve got no weapons and no allies, and Roba’s second-in-command, The Ghost, is keeping them under constant watch.
