Summary
Daryl likes the nighttime. Likes the stillness and the inexplicable way the air becomes that much clearer. The noises that set most people’s hair on end aren’t strange or unknown to him – he can tell a raccoon from a deer from a walker by the sound of their footsteps as easily as others can by sight.
Jesus knows all this because Daryl has told him so, in one way or another. These revelations were slow to come, but he is nothing if not patient.
He knows other things too. Other little secrets. Things that would be dull or trivial to most are precious to him.

Summary
A routine scouting trip turns bad for Daryl, Jesus, Michonne, and Aaron as they find themselves stranded without a car, surrounded by walkers and on the run from Negan's men. With an injured Jesus, help too far away, and tensions rising between the group, Daryl is forced to face all the feelings he has been keeping buried and hidden since the night they faced Negan. Summary
Paul swallowed a sound that would have been far too close to moan as he pressed his hand to his stomach. He shook his head, this couldn’t be happening now but he could feel the fever spreading up his chest.
If there were worse places to go into heat, Paul couldn't think of them. The Sanctuary had to be top of the list.
