Their kiss is so sudden that Izuku is sure, for a moment, that he’s back on that roof with Katsuki so many years ago. That the rest of it was a harrowing dream that lasted a lifetime and that Katsuki never left.
When he blinks his eyes back open again, Katsuki is hissing in pain as his injuries twinge from their position, his hips jumping back as his muscles spasm indignantly.
“Shit,” Katsuki grunts, forehead dropping to Izuku’s shoulder as he calms himself in more ways than one. “I shouldn’t have–”
“Kiss me again,” Izuku pleads, to shut him up. Then he steals the kiss himself.

"We have to talk about it. It's not over just because we're home. You know that, right?"
"Yeah." Izuku says quietly, fighting to sound fine despite the burning of his throat. "I know that now. But I don't need to talk about it. I'm fine."
"Please." Katsuki says. "Please don't lie. I know you aren't fine, Deku. Fuck, how could you be fine?"
Silence. Again. Silence so thick it hurt to breathe. Izuku bites his trembling lip tightly, trying to ground himself. What am I supposed to do? How am I supposed to even begin to sort through all of this? How am I supposed to look my husband in the eyes and tell him that I wish I hadn't been saved?
...
Izuku and Katsuki survive an incredibly traumatic kidnapping. Now they have to figure out how and why to keep surviving.

Summary
An evil stirs in the Aldera Mountain Range, and six young adventurers hand picked by the renowned and retired hero Yagi are sent to investigate it.
The problem is that their leader Katsuki and his appointed second-in-command Izuku cannot stand each other. They were in love once but ambition has made them worse than enemies, they are strangers.
The problem is that Izuku has a secret so dark and shameful that the party would hate him for it if they ever found it out. They do.
The problem is that they are attacked and the party gets split when Katsuki and Izuku are captured. If the two of them can’t work together they will die and the great land of Hothe will fall with them.
Can they overcome their differences to make it out alive or will Izuku’s secrets and Katsuki’s resentment doom them from the start?

Summary
Class A comes to the mutual agreement that someone should spend each night with Izuku for the time being. They start bidding for shifts and arguing over who should get to go when. It's - Izuku stays silent the whole time, trying not to cry as his friends compete with each other for the chance to take care of him. It's so silly and his heart feels so full.
They didn't ask for his protection. He didn't ask for theirs. But heroes save everyone, and right now -
Right now, they need all the help they can get. They're stronger together. Izuku understands that now.
