When he wasn’t texting Chan, he was thinking about him. Jisung didn’t think he’d thought about Chan this much since they’d met as kids and his first thought every day was whether he’d get to see the cool older kid from the swing set again. Or when they were in college, practically living together, and Jisung just happened to have an extra of Chan’s favorite protein bar or be free when Chan needed a practice audience for a presentation.
Anything for five more minutes with him.
Including a bag full of fruit, five years later.
or: When Felix moves out, Jisung flounders and starts considering what he wants. Chan remains his greatest constant.

Jisung sighs, dropping his hands but not meeting Chan’s eyes when he says, “It’s just— well. I like to, you know— finger myself when I get off.” He rushes through that part, spitting the words out quick like it’ll make them disappear faster. “And I guess I could just— you know— touch my dick, but— ahh, I can’t believe I’m saying this,” Jisung groans, pinching his eyes shut.
“I could do it.”

The park they used to go to and Chan’s friends complaining about him always bringing his brother along until Chan found new ones who didn’t care. Homemade kongnamulguk for dinner and peach gummies from the corner store for dessert. Shared hobbies. Shared graduation gowns. Shared alma maters.
Jisung’s jacket in Chan’s backseat. Jisung’s fingers twined in Chan’s shirt.

All while wagging his tail.
“-do you think Minho knows?” Chan says, black, fluffy ears perked up. He looks over at Felix for a brief second before returning his attention to the door.
“Knows what?” Felix groans, pacing.
“Know that I am a good boy, of course,” Chan says, puffing his chest out.
