Summary
Evan Buckley wasn’t born - he was made.
Fifteen (almost sixteen) years later, he’s learned a few things. He knows not to put his fate in someone else’s hands. If he wants to get anywhere in life, he needs to do it on his own. He has a plan. Keep his head down. Survive foster care. Go to school. Turn eighteen. Get a full ride to college. Make something of himself.
Then Athena Grant shows up and makes a deal with him. Suddenly he has the family he’s always wanted, and he starts thinking that maybe this time he won’t screw it up.
Unfortunately, trouble from his past is lurking in the shadows.

Summary
And maybe it’s the fact that Tyler is open and non-complicated and so unashamed that it makes Eddie feel like he doesn’t have to be either. Or maybe it’s just that Eddie’s so fucking sick of hiding, of letting people see him for who he’s not, of playing this suffocating role that he’s feeling a little impulsive. Either way, Eddie opens his mouth and what comes out is—
“I do, actually.”
Tyler raises a singular eyebrow at him.
“Swing for the same team, I mean.” He blows out a slow, calming breath, making eye contact with absolutely nobody, and then announces at large, “I’m gay.”
or, eddie tells three secrets.

“Hey, Chim, have you seen my hoodie?” Chim’s eyes immediately widen.
“Uhhhh…. Your favorite one?” He says slowly, and Bobby frowns.
“Chimney where’s my hoodie,” he asks carefully, and Chimney grits his teeth and points up to the loft.
“Try not to kill him, Cap,” Chim says, slapping a hand on his shoulder and walking away.
