Summary
Robert kills Lee and goes to prison. This one event changes so much in Emmerdale. Everyone now has to figure out how to keep living. This is that story. What happens to Aaron. What happens to Robert. What happens to Seb. What happens to the others from the village. How do their lives change and how do they make lemonade from the lemons they have all be given. Do they? Can they? Will Robert and Aaron's paths crossed again. Can the the pure magnetism of being soulmates eventually pull them back together? There are so many broken hearts. Can they all be mended or has life finally created one to many obstacles to overcome?

Yes, another reunion fic. This will be a slow burn and it won't be obvious how it ends for some time. The ultimate betrayal has taken place and a lot of miss information will follow that will be tough to work through to find the real truth. There has been a lot of change in the village during the years Robert has been in prison that will make things even harder to overcome. This could be what ends Robert and Aaron forever. This is the story of the effort to prevent that from happening.

This multi-chapter story is about what happens after Robert goes to prison. The story starts when Robert goes to prison. Each chapter represents a year. A year of Robert in prison and what all happens during that year. Each chapter will also be written from the perspective of a different character. There will be plenty of angst. Not a lot of happiness obviously with robron not together but I'm trying to be somewhat realistic in writing this considering how it initially is set up. Can't promise any certain ending because I don't know myself yet how it will end. We'll see how it plays out as I write each chapter.

This story begins in September 2018 when Robert gets released from prison after spending a year there for a murder it was finally proven he did not commit in September 2017. It was a crime he was found guilty of at the time by a jury with some of the star witnesses of the prosecution being Liv, Aaron and Victoria. Now the truth is out and which obviously effects everyone in mostly negative ways. How do Aaron and Robert fix their relationship or, can they after something this massive happens? Can Robert even begin to assimilate back into life in Emmerdale? Will he even want to? Would you want to after this?

Summary
This story makes major changes to the real Robron story on screen. In this story Aaron never met Ed and never went to France for two years. Instead, in this story the Whites and Robert move to Emmerdale in the fall of 2011 instead of 2014. Aaron and Robert meet in the fall of 2011 instead of 2014. The whole robron story then moves up and starts three years earlier than it actually did. And then in this story when Aaron meets Robert at Wylie's farm on the day of Robert and Chrissie's wedding and asks him to not marry her.... Robert listens. From there this story takes Robert and Aaron on a totally different life journey.
The first several chapters take us back and we relive 2011 - June 2018. We learn what has happened to the two of them these past 6.5 years. Then the story goes into the future from here. There is more fluff than angst if I'm honest but in the later half some angst will come into play. But for the most part this is a happy story of what might have been if Robert had admitted his love for Aaron and never married Chrissie.
