    Viktor has never been prone to sentimentality. He could see the value when presented by others, to others, but he himself didn’t see much of a point in holding on to fleeting moments, actions or objects simply for the fact that they remind you of someone else.

    Having ascended both geographically and socially, there was nothing besides bittersweet memories he could hold on to properly from his life before. Nothing, at least, that warranted the effort.
