While they were masked up he was Spider-Man: snarky, and quick witted, and a little mean (which made Wade tingle all over). But in those moments in between, when Peter looked at Wade with those adorable doe eyes, he was unfailingly kind.
Wade had never seen one shoe so perfectly positioned on the ground, clean and shining and pristine. Now to wait for the other to drop, hard, on top of his head.
