Summary
In 2024, Bucky Barnes follows a lead about more super soldier serum that takes him to Siberia. He encounters the unexpected and finds himself in 2014, shortly after the Winter Soldier vanished.
This is a COMPLETE, STAND-ALONE story but does have two stand-alone sequels (different timeline branches - one that goes into Falcon and The Winter Soldier's timeline and the other that is post-Age of Ultron). You can head directly from Part 1 into either Parts 2 or 3 (since 2 and 3 are independent of one another).

Summary
The future will not build itself. Someone has to take hold of the present and shape it, block by block, into what will be needed in the years to come. If some of those building blocks are people, are family, well, that has never stopped the General. He has a future to build, after all.
(Or: Part one of the origin story of Vasily Karpov, the General’s grandson, from little minnow, to junior handler, to the Soldier’s keeper. Naturally, everything is horrible.)
