Summary
“Go home,” Jack says. His voice is quiet, but there’s an underlying rage beneath the exhaustion.
“I’m not finished.”
“I don’t want you here when the others come back.”
Blinking at the floor, Ianto looks at the watch on his wrist but at some point it’s stopped working, the glass casing cracked and the hands frozen at ten past twelve.
“Go home,” Jack says again.
Ianto blinks again at the floor, at the stains beneath his fingers that he knows will never come out, that have soaked in too deeply.

Summary
On the way back from a rift alert, Jack and Ianto stop at a toy shop to get something for Ianto's nephew. A pair of trick cuffs catches Jack's eye and he agrees to let the shop owner cuff him and Ianto together (much to Ianto's dismay). The challenge is figure out how to get the cuffs off themselves and they're free. They have until the next morning. The experience brings feelings they've been keeping to themselves to the forefront.
