Summary
“Oh, good, you’re awake,” Yamada Saburo says. “You’re lucky this one is so incompetent, or we would’ve been out of here by now.”
“Shut up and finish cutting me out already,” Jiro grouses from somewhere beyond Samatoki’s line of sight.
With a groan, Samatoki rolls into a sitting position and finds a few loops of duct tape wrapped around his arms, jaggedly split about halfway through. That’s when it finally comes back to him — Ikebukuro, an old contact, the boarded-up rendezvous point — and then nothing. He wonders how these two got involved — he hadn’t been anywhere close to Odd-Jobs.
Samatoki gets kidnapped by an up-and-coming gang in Ikebukuro. It goes better than it should, all things considered.

Summary
“I know what a Christmas tree is, Galo,” Lio says after a bit, because it’s cute when Galo struggles, and Lio has his needs. He knows for the most part, anyway – he once saw a drawing of one on a postcard, but didn’t realize people actually went to the trouble in real life.
Lio rediscovers a love language.

Summary
Nie Huaisang has a raging migraine, a missing bus pass, and a group critique for a final project he hasn’t even started. He most certainly does not have time for these weird ass dreams, or for the zombie who unstealthily walks him home every goddamn night.
