Some members of the Justice League are caught in a spell gone awry following a magical battle. They find themselves in Neptune, California. But things are a little different from how they were when they left. It’s one day after a much-awaited wedding, one day after a car bomb goes off on what’s supposed to be a quiet street in a small town. One day after a life many of the Leaguers have at least passing familiarity with is senselessly lost.
Well, the Justice League is made up of heroes. So saving Logan Echolls could be considered part of their job, right? And they conveniently have a couple of death-defying magic users on their team…
Inspired by the Logan Lives collection, this fic takes place in my Veronica Mars and the Justice League crossover AU. But I’ve hopefully written it so you don’t have to have read that before reading this.

Summary
A series of short fics inspired by the much lengthier, and much more glorious, fic that is Detachment by bonehandledknife.
While that fic is beautiful and hilarious and insightful and all manner of WTF-why-is-this-complicated-and-giving-me-feelings, these fics are not at all meant to be taken seriously. Even if they do occasionally sprout emotions, this is almost always unintended.
Here’s what you need to know: Clark is Kryptonian. Kryptonian physiology evolved in such a manner that, to increase the efficiency of heeding the biological imperative, their cocks detach from their bodies and go in search of ideal mates. Normally, these cocks kind of fade away after the Origin Body is united with their Chosen. However, normally, Kryptonians live under a red sun, can't fly, and don't shoot lasers out of their eyes. Suffice it to say, there is nothing normal about Superman. Or his detached genitalia.
