Summary
There had been a fox following Batman around for the last few months. It was a young fox, a cub, really. And let's just say, he might have grown attached to it. Sue him, he was a dog person. But you couldn't just take a fox home with you like it was a pet, so he ignored the want to adopt the fox. That was, until a boy stole his tires and the truth came out.
Foxes were the Batman's best friend.
Or: How Bruce becomes fond of a fox who won't leave his side and Jason gains a home.

Summary
Jason knew how this story was going to play out. He knew because the Pit taught him things no one else knew.
Batman would save the monster and abandon him. The worst part of it was that it wouldn't even be his fault, not really.
What he failed to calculate for was that maybe he read the wrong story and the one he was actually in is a lot different.
