Summary
Gwen really doesn't have time to be the OIAR's IT desk on top of everything else, but Alice has an error and will probably break something if she tries to fix it, so Gwen doesn't exactly have a choice. But maybe a moment for them to talk alone will help with more than just an ethernet problem.
(It's literally just the ending of TMAGP 17 but with slightly better communication. Be the change you want to see in the world.)

Summary
The problem was this: Kepler wanted to be a part of Jacobi’s life. To be a part of it, yes, but not to own it.
“You’re not my commanding officer anymore, Warren,” Jacobi said when he came home. It was late and he was drunk, but not quite as late, not quite as drunk as he would’ve been once upon a time. “You’re not even my… You’re just my flatmate.”
Yeah. Yeah, okay.
AKA I don't like the "death as redemption" trope, so I decided Kepler needs to live with his mistakes.

Summary
The Not!Them has escaped, the Archival staff has scattered, and the Magnus Institute is in disarray. In his preparations for the Watcher's Crown, Jonah finds himself buried in paperwork; and on top of that, Peter Lukas has turned up again - freshly murdered, depressed, and possibly immortal. As he goes from crashing through Jonah's office window to crashing in his guest room, Jonah begins to realise that something isn't right. The Lukas family has more secrets than he'd initially assumed, and nothing is what it seems, least of all Peter himself... Not that Jonah has any room to judge, of course.
Additionally, he's pretty certain he is getting attached, which is both complicated and wildly unwise. The Lonely has never looked kindly upon that sort of thing.
