Summary
A blessing from the Goddesses allows for the rebirth of the Holder of Power in the face of the death of the King of Evil. The Great Fairy, Gizelle, finds this shadow of the man who used to be Ganondorf Dragmire, and names him for what has been given to him; a second chance at life.
Gizelle takes him to experience a world that is different than what he knows, in the face of the destruction he caused in a time he doesn't remember. The Triforce still sleeps inside of him, but is that all there is to it?

the name for this series comes from the term "the hedgehog's dilemma" (sometimes porcupine is used instead) that is a metaphor about the difficulties of human intimacy. meaning, a hedgehog (or in this case, a fox!) may desperately want to be close / have the intention of goodwill, but they will inevitably harm others due to their own nature. it is a self-imposed exile where an individual cannot see an outcome that does not result in mutual harm, so they refrain from gaining any close relationships at all.
that is to say, it's commander fox angst lol. enjoy!!
