After all the chaos that had endured that summer, one of them was the fun “will they or won’t they” dynamic you shared with Stanford when he arrived back to Gravity Falls from the portal. Ever since he had slipped into that damned portal, you were helping Stan every step of the way to get your Icarus of a lab partner back. Stan’s arm rests behind your head, gripping the back of Fiddleford’s seat as he rolls his eyes at the other two. He leans down to whisper, “You sure you wanna live with this shit? Gets old after a while,” with a smirk. His breath is so close to your skin that it makes you shudder, but you grin at him and nudge him with your elbow, reminding him that you get your fair share of this as just an outsider, and yet you’ve stayed this long. He snickers, leaning back into the seat with a tired sigh as he watches the road go by all the way back to the Shack.
