“Ever the charmer, Talis.” He rolled his eyes and turned to walk away, figuring this conversation was not worth his precious time only for Jayce to tutt disapprovingly.
“No, no, no. I’m not finished with you yet, come back.” Jayce called out and just as he suspected, Viktor halted mid-step with a shiver and turned on his heel, quickly returning to Jayce’s side.
“Hm.” Jayce hummed, looking his partner over curiously, watching the other man squirm under the intense scrutiny.
“Are you going to keep observing me as if I am some sort of machine that needs work? Or am I free to leave?” Viktor huffed impatiently and Jayce found himself smirking.
“Of course you’re free to leave. Actually, I’m more fascinated by the fact that it seems like you can’t.” He pointed out slyly and Viktor tensed.

When Viktor has an incident with a 'faulty' hexcrystal, he finds himself unable to deny commands when given to him. This causes some issues for Viktor when a persistent man chats him up at a bar at a fundraising event, trapping him in an uncomfortable position, luckily Jayce intervenes in time and the night leads to drunken confessions that Jayce hopes he still means in the morning with a sober mind.Bookmarked by candelee

Viktor reaches towards him without thinking, and Jayce reaches out at the same time. Their hands grasp the other tightly, as if not holding on hard enough would mean one of them would float away and disappear.
Jayce moves in an instant. He reaches out with his other arm and pulls Viktor into a bone-crushing hug.
Viktor is helpless to do anything but cling to the man as he is pulled into Jayce’s warmth.
“We’re alive. You’re alive. You’re…Viktor, you’re you.”
Or, in other words, Viktor and Jayce wake up after the finale of Arcane and have a conversation, then make tender lovemaking to each other. That's it, that's the fic.

It’s not that Viktor sneezes, it’s how he does it. And Jayce, to his huge surprise, must admit it’s unexpectedly endearing. So he stares.
“Sorry,” Viktor reaches out for a tissue. “It’s the dust. From the thingy.”
His words bring Jayce back. He blinks and shakes his head, mumbling a quick bless you to which Viktor mumbles a quick thank you, force of habit speaking for them both. It’s all about good manners and expected response.
