Summary
Jungkook is fresh out of college and the city life and moves (drumroll please) to the quiet mountainside!... Yeah, it's not exactly what he'd expected either, but if it's good enough for his glamorous retired-model of a cousin, Seokjin, then it should be good enough for him too, not to mention that Seokjin and his husband are generous enough to let Jungkook stay with them.
Life is domestic and quiet, Jungkook is learning to slow down and appreciate the wildlife of the mountains as the autumnal leaves begin to fall, but as the sun drops, and day turns to night, the monsters come out.

Summary
Taehyung and Jungkook are princes and childhood friends. They become engaged for their families' political purposes. Both figure they could be worse off than each other and make the most of the situation by accepting it.
Jungkook lives with his many siblings in a kingdom in the mountains, far from his fiancé who lives in a coastal town alone and separated from his family and brother.
Taehyung's a bit lost in life, struggling with adulthood, and missing his family, quite unsure what to do with his days.
Enter Jimin, a spritely merman with a gold and purple tail, and much like Taehyung, looking for a friend.
Over time, the three find themselves becoming something more.

Jungkook didn’t think life could get much weirder than it had already gotten. Never once had he dreamed that he’d one day join a handsome crew of pirates, nor that they would treat him like a prince even after the boy had been “stolen” away from his kingdom and territory. The reason for the quotations there is because maybe, potentially, perhaps Jungkook wasn’t taken completely against his own will. No, in fact, all it had taken was the pirate captain’s mesmerizing smile and whispered promises of exciting adventure and life on the high seas that made Jungkook run away from the castle one day, sailing away merrily on a boat filled with looting, thieving pirates.
(Or: Jungkook wants adventure and doesn't get much of that living the life of a prince, so when handsome pirate captain Taehyung offers for him to join his pirate crew, he's heavily inclined to say yes. One day Jungkook notices that their ship is being tailed. Literally. Jimin is a merman that begins following their ship, friendships bloom, and feelings are developed.)

Summary
