Summary
When Jayce finds his partner on the bridge between Zaun and Piltover, he is overcome with anger. It felt like Viktor was undermining him and all his efforts- and so in his anger, he lashed out. Now, Jayce knows he can be rash and insensitive at the best of time.
The problem was, he wasn't sure if he'd ever get the opportunity to make it up to Viktor this time.

After returning from visiting Singed in the Undercity, things take a different turn for Viktor. A play on Season 1 Episode 7- The Boy Savior. -

The green house was beautiful. A profound sense of peace washed over Jayce, the relentless onslaught on his mind quieting for the first time since he left that terrifying universe.
And then he saw Viktor.
His hair had grown long, brushing his shoulders. His face was serene, lips curved into the faintest, most enigmatic of smiles.
He was beautiful. More than beautiful - he was transcendent.And yet, this wasn't Viktor. Not his Viktor. His Viktor had been warm and real and human. Not a God.

Summary
This is always the hardest part, getting him dressed, seeing how much weight he’s lost. His white blouse hanging off of him, pants sagging. It’s a vanishing act, what Viktor is pulling now. All the time now he’s vanishing.
Jayce holds him carefully, clasping the brace around his back. He kneels at Viktor’s feet, dangling off the side of the bed, and eases his leg into its brace. This is his favorite part, resting his cheek against Viktor’s knee, gazing up at him.
“I love you,” he says, and Viktor looks down at him blearily, mouth a little red with his own blood. “I’m right here. I’m not going anywhere. I’m going to take care of you.”
