Frodo’s eyes were bright with fear and suspicion as Aragorn knelt before him, and it cut the Man down to his soul; that such a brave and gentle creature should have need to distrust even those sworn to his protection. Yet need he certainly had - however regrettably - and so Aragorn moved slowly, eyes never leaving the clear-water gaze of the Hobbit before him. He closed Frodo’s hand around the object of the Hobbit’s torture, and mourned only that it should be Frodo, of all the peoples of Middle-Earth, that carried such a burden.
Or, Frodo seen through Aragorn's eyes at the breaking of the Fellowship.

"There is blood in Adam’s teeth. Lawrence isn’t sure if it’s Adam’s or someone else’s, isn’t sure if the blood is really there at all. So much of their time together has involved blood (Adam’s blood mixing with his own on the bathroom tile, mixing where their hands finally, finally clasp together) that sometimes he’ll see Adam drenched in it, even when the younger man is fresh out of the shower.
There is blood in Adam’s teeth and staining his lips red in a way no makeup ever could, and Lawrence thinks that Adam never looks so beautiful than when he allows himself to give in to the call of brutality, buried deep in both of them."

Two years after the Battle for the Living, the harshest winter in living memory still hasn’t ended. Sansa Stark is desperate to save what’s left of her people, but there’s nothing she can do except hope that they don’t all slowly starve before winter ends.
Well, nothing she can do until the Old Gods hear her desperate plea and send her back to Winterfell months before King Robert stepped foot in the North. Now all the “what ifs” she’s spent contemplating are possible and she’s promised the Old Gods she would do anything to save her family and the people of the North even if that meant staining her honor, allying with old enemies, or entering yet another unwanted marriage.
Or the one in which the Old Gods have zero tact and Sansa is determined to keep the game of thrones from ruining her family or the North.

Summary
Most crime fighters are heroes, superpowered people who were trained at a young age to beat the bad guys and serve the everyman, born and raised to protect and save the lives of those who couldn't defend themselves. Pretty much every kid wanted to grow up to be a hero, obviously. Fame, fortune, fighting, it was every tiny child's dream, but only a select few were allowed to become heroes, especially not powerless ones.
And that was just Tommy's issue, he was powerless.
It seemed that everyone around him had some sort of quirk or superpower that made them stronger, that gave them incredible abilities like no other, but Tommy, arguably the kid who wanted to be a hero the most, was left untouched by luck.
But that didn't mean he couldn't help out. Far from it, in fact.
Or...
Tommy is a vigilante, kicking ass and fighting crime, but catches the attention of a few familiar faces.
