It was safer to go down that road. If she were being honest, Arizona was practically to blame for failing to keep in touch with her through the years. She didn’t know why it was so much easier catching up with Bailey, Richard, or even Teddy over late-night Zoom calls. She didn’t know why there was a heavy weight on her chest each time she contemplated calling Amelia instead.
Amelia scoffed, shaking her head — and Arizona just knew. “Six years, Arizona. Not one single phone call, or even a freaking text message — and you come here unannounced and expect me to greet you with what? With freaking open arms?”
OR the one where somewhere in Seattle, Amelia still couldn't sleep while a certain blonde surgeon decided to make a comeback.
