Summary
In a world stuck in a bureaucratic loop, Rey just wants to get through college and live her life independently, regardless what her designation says. She’s not thriving, but she’s surviving. Then Ben Solo touches her hand and circumstances push her into trying to become a catalyst for change. She sues Ben and the state for her right to remain her own person, to not have to submit to her mate.
Ben is a prominent political and religious figure, and he’s not about to let his mate get away. With the Gamma church behind him, and prejudice against omegas on his side, he’s less than pleased that his soulmate does not fit the mold.
Rey only wants the same rights Beta women have, but soon finds that fighting her soulmate bond is harder to deny than she ever could’ve imagined.
