Summary
Joseph Kavinsky is burning. He’s on fucking fire with need. The truth is, K can have pretty much anything he desires (with one exception that he doesn’t really talk about anymore, because it’s largely irrelevant now, whatever) but sometimes, he likes to tease himself, deny himself what he wants right before he reaches out and takes it.
Like now. The object of his hunger sits a few feet away from him on an overstuffed couch in the living space in K’s wing of the Kavinsky mansion: a room that’s outfitted with a giant plasma screen, a couple gaming consoles, a drinks fridge that smells like slightly burnt cotton candy when it’s opened (dream shit), and a moderate amount of post-hangout trash. And one Ilya Prokopenko.

Ronan doesn’t sleep.
Until he does.
He’s alone in his room when he falls asleep. He’s alone when he starts to dream.
He’s sitting on his bed. The light is low, hazy and soft and grey and he’s alone until he isn’t. He looks up.
“Hey, Lynch.”
Ronan’s heart stops. He smells ozone, burning tyres, gasoline, cigarette smoke. Vodka, dried grass, Kavinsky’s cologne. Time slows down to a stop, a string pulled taut between the past and present.
* * * * * * *
The quest to find Glendower is over. While still reeling from the events, Ronan gets a strange night time visitor. It might be time to face old skeletons in the closet.

Summary
It’s Friday and it’s *hot* in Henrietta, so hot the air feels denser than it rightfully should, shimmering above the charcoal asphalt of the parking lot, and Ronan Lynch *hates it*. Hates the sun, hates that he’s actually allowed Gansey to drag his ass to Aglionby that day, hates that both Gansey and Adam have already left for one of Gansey’s parents’ parties which he’d frankly rather die than attend himself. Hates it all.
His BMW is one of the last cars sitting in the parking lot. Kavinsky’s rabid polar bear of an EVO is surprisingly still there as well, gleaming in the afternoon sun like a wet bone.

AKA the one where Ronan finds Kavinsky on a bathroom floor and takes him home, against his better judgement. A couple mild internal crises later, smut happens. Just the way we like it. *fingerguns*

When he’s pulled back into the Dreaming, his form from The Waking World crumbling into fine, glimmering dust and scattering into all directions only to wake up back in Dream’s domain, the first thing the Corinthian does is let out a helpless scream.

Set after episode 9 (Collectors).
Morpheus disintegrates the Corinthian but doesn’t unmake him, instead sends him back to The Dreaming. Angst ensues. This is hurt/messy comfort. It also has next to no plot and not a lot of porn so I’m not really sure what it is, but I’m pretty sure that when Neil Gaiman said the best thing for a writer is “just write”, he didn’t mean this. Sorry Neil. -

There he is, standing in front of a TIE Fighter model, trying desperately not to smile because he"s always known how goofy he looks when he smiles, but he"s failing miserably because Poe has always known how to make him smile, how to make him laugh so much he wasn"t able to catch his breath properly for what felt like hours. He"s in the photo too, arm wrapped tightly around Kylo’s waist in an easy gesture of intimacy. Poe"s smile doesn"t look goofy at all, if anything, it"s bright, full of life and light. He seems so happy in Kylo’s presence. It breaks his fucking heart all over again.

Summary

Summary
After being dishonorably discharged from the US Navy, Matt knows he doesn"t want to go home to Utah, and doesn"t want to face his family, so he buys a junker of a car and starts driving, no destination in mind. He thinks he"ll work out a plan on the way, but he still hasn"t figured it out when his car breaks down, on a lonely stretch of the I-5 heading south, with no company but the rows and rows of peach trees that fill yet another roadside farm. Then, a beautiful man comes out of the trees, offers him free automotive advice, and scampers away. In the following days, while Matt"s car is fixed at the only garage in the pathetic truck stop town that borders the orchard, he sees the man a few more times, but can"t imagine the wild ride he"s in for when the man begs for his help to escape a hell-on-earth hidden between the peach trees.
