“I - “ Jiang Cheng choked, attempting to squirm or move but having no leverage to. Lan Xichen’s grip was too strong. “I don’t care!” he settled on, still wriggling to no success.

“Do your worst,” Jiang Cheng huffed.

“So, are you happy now? Can I change out of this?” Jiang Cheng tugs at his robes, only for them to hike up from his movements, baring a swathe of tan leg.
Lan Xichen’s voice hitches audibly.
“Yeah,” he says in a gravelly voice, so low that Jiang Cheng is startled. He feels the bed depressing around where his elbows are propped up, and looks up only to see that Lan Xichen has caged him between his arms. “I’m very happy.”
