Bucky's dog tags were folded in the crease of the paper he'd torn from his journal, reading: "Steve, here. You have them, if you want them. You have me, if you want me. I’ve never tried loving a man before but for you I’ve run headfirst into wars and Death’s wide, gaping jaws, so this is easy in comparison. This is like breathing."
It was so dark when Bucky handed him the note, the fire just burning out, and he glanced back only once to see Steve watching him as he walked away.

Fantastic WS!Bucky reclaims Sgt Bucky and young Bucky, slowly. Super Steve and Bucky develop a relationship in a time of blue cards and no. Really excellent teacher Bucky, though Madame B isn't as horrible as usual. Stucky is not easy, but deep and wide and forever. Outstanding Canon divergence.

Summary
Will Graham is called out to assess the most recent in a string of killings, but for once he can tell this is not the killer's design. The killer, super-impressed with this, follows him home. Now Will finds he needs a crash course in the care and feeding of brainwashed assassins, and thank god he has a former surgeon on speed dial, and also dogs. Because this situation clearly needs a lot of dogs.

Summary
SHIELD was the only intelligence agency that assigned werewolf and vampire agents to work together in the field, but the program had been a staggering success. They compensated each other’s weaknesses, complemented each other’s strengths, and a werewolf could feed a vampire and shake off the effects faster than ordering a pizza.
Bucky knew all that. What he didn't know was why this particular vampire, one Agent Steve Rogers, was holding out a protein bar. They were perched in the rafters of a warehouse, waiting for not-overly punctual arms dealers to show up and deal arms, had been stuck up here for a couple of hours, but none of that explained vampires suddenly offering snacks.
In his near decade as a werewolf in SHIELD, Bucky had worked with a lot of vampires, and they all tended to be pretty much the same. Steve Rogers was different, didn't fit the vampire mould, and Bucky couldn't quite figure out why.
Not that it really mattered. Steve was just someone he was occasionally paired with on SHIELD assignments. It wasn't like he was going to have any effect on Bucky's life.

Summary
cause of death: i tried to go in 9 directions at once and couldn't reconcile any of them. i ended up making bucky a magical mary sue, had ZERO idea where to go with steve, and what the fuck was the climax of the story gonna be, tbh. plus a whole raft of internal logic consistency problems. Enjoy!
