Summary
High School AU
When Credence is having a bad day--scratch that, bad week--his teachers notice.
****
"Credence expects to be lead to the nurse’s office. Not to the principal’s.
If he thought he was sweating before, it was nothing like he was sweating now. He could feel the little rivulets run the length of his spine, stinging the welts across his back.
Credence is ushered into a chair. He sits with his back ramrod straight and tries his best not to grimace or wince.
A few minutes later, they were joined by Mr. Scamander, Principal Picquery, and—
Credence shuts his eyes hard. No, no, nonononono—
“What, exactly, is going on?” Mr. Graves’ deep voice never ceased to make Credence’s stomach flutter."

Summary
Newt finds Credence and wants to help heal him. But Credence has something he needs to hide.
***
Credence observed the sprawling web of black markings across his body with mounting horror. His clothing would cover most of them, except for those crawling up his neck and the ones on his hands.
But later wasn’t the issue. Now was the issue.
There was a knock on the bathroom door, “Credence, can I come in?” Mr. Scamander’s voice came through clearly.

Summary
Will we die, just a little?
Newt steals something from Grindelwald and refuses to give it back. Grindelwald takes this opportunity to find out what exactly makes Newt so special.
Meanwhile, a very flustered Theseus tries to find his trouble-seeking brother with the help of some unexpected guests.
******
“The consequences of your silence really will be most unpleasant, Mr. Scamander.” Grindelwald whispers against his temple, soft and gentle. “Continued exposure to the Cruciatus Curse is known to drive people mad.”
It’s a mockery of comfort, and Newt’s stomach revolts at the forced intimacy. He bites his tongue to keep from whimpering, resolutely holding onto his silence. After a few moments, Grindelwald releases a deep, disappointed sigh, “Very well. I had hoped to avoid this, but you give me no other choice.”
The word is whispered against his skin, no more than a single breathe, but no less destructive because of it.
“Crucio.”

Summary
This is a story where Credence and Percival are soulmates, but neither one knows it.
****
Credence is ten when Mary Lou first starts beating him with his belt, raining blows down across his back and thighs. One day, when Credence is waiting for the blows to begin, May-Lou hesitates. She stands with her arm half raised, still holding the belt, poised to strike. Slowly, she reaches her other hand forward, gently brushing her fingers across the space between the boy’s shoulders. Credence revels in the soft touch, drinking in the kindness, hope blossoming in his chest.
Until the tender fingers turn to claws, digging into the smooth flesh of his back.
“Invert.” Mary Lou spits the word out like it is poison, her nails unforgiving and cutting deep into him, but not nearly as deep as her words. “The name of a man embedded in your very skin! Have you no shame, boy? Parading your whorishness in the house of God!”
Later, when Mary Lou as quenched her thirst for blood, and Credence is back in his bed, he can’t help running his fingers across the place of his damning mark.

Summary
An exclusive, queer BDSM club was the very last place that Neil expected to find Andrew Minyard, especially considering the way they left things eight years ago.
He never expected to see the other man again, not after so thoroughly burning his bridges.
But pipedreams have a way of sticking to one. They linger until they’re properly acknowledged, properly processed.
They’ve both done some soul searching in the years apart, and maybe (just maybe) they ended up closer to each other and to the lingering unspoken truth between them than they’ve ever been before.

Summary
“Still here?” Andrew asks Neil mildly.
“He just helped us win the game, you ass,” Nicky says through a laugh. Neil doesn’t pay attention to Nicky. Andrew isn’t teasing. He’s asking, Where is your head right now? Are you here, or are you in Baltimore; Evermore; an overcast beach in California?
Neil points at the ground. I’m right here.
