Summary
John, a hockey player with a promising career ahead of him, is partially blinded after an accident during the Olympic gold-medal hockey game. Unable to play professional hockey anymore, he moves back to his hometown and begins to make a life for himself without professional skating. However, he longs for something more than bar hockey leagues can offer him. So when figure skating coach Parker Yang comes to him with an offer—a chance to win an Olympic gold medal as a figure skater, paired with the infamously temperamental but wildly talented Arthur Lester—he accepts. Something is better than nothing, right?
Except that Arthur hates him on sight, and “temperamental” turns out to mean “rude, self-absorbed, and excruciating to work with.”
Neither Arthur nor John is happy with the arrangement, but with no other options and the Olympic season rapidly approaching, they reluctantly begin training. As John gets to know Arthur better—and meets Arthur’s seven-year-old daughter, Faroe—he begins to realize that there’s more to the man than he first thought. But will they be able to take home the Olympic gold medal? And will John be able to skate with a man that he is slowly but surely falling in love with?

Summary
“So, do you like the lights?”
The first thing Jeremy had done after dropping his bag onto the ground was crouch down and plug in the string of fairy lights he’d put up the previous weekend. Jean doesn’t quite understand; they don’t offer significantly more light than the ones embedded in their ceiling, and the sun outside is still shining. “They seem unnecessary. It is bright enough during the day.”
Jeremy hesitates. It’s only for a moment, but Jean is familiar enough with him now to recognize it. “You can also use them at night,” Jeremy says, turning back to face his bag. “If you’d like.”

But at night, when he sleeps, Arthur is plagued by dreams of a voice in his head that calls itself John, accompanying him through various horrific circumstances. Eating is fine, now that he gets to taste things. There are so many flavors that combine in so many different ways, and John keeps discovering new ones—ones he loves and ones he hates and ones he knows he can make better if given the chance. The problem isn’t the eating; it’s what comes after the eating.
Digestion.
Eugh.
.

He wants to dance, and he wants to sing, and he wants to touch and feel and smell and taste.
And he wants Nathan to press him against the soft cushions of their couch and kiss him until he forgets that this human body needs to breathe.
.
Or, Yellow falls in love with a member of the Order while sharing Larson's body, and Nathan falls in love with him return and, in the process, allows Yellow to take Larson's body for his own.

Summary
“I wish I knew what it was like. At least, if I don’t make it, I won’t die wondering,” Jean admitted quietly, almost too quietly for Nathaniel to hear. He almost hoped that Nathaniel didn’t hear his confession because he was suddenly so embarrassed by his weakness.
“What what is like?” Nathaniel asked. Jean didn’t answer right away, hoping that if he didn’t clarify that Nathaniel would drop it. He doesn’t, instead gently jostling Jean in his arms. “What is it?”
“Kissing,” Jean finally said. “I saw Kevin and Thea kiss, and I just wish I could know what it was like.”
Or
Jean worries he will never get the chance to kiss someone, so his partner, Nathaniel, offers to kiss him.
