Under the moonlight, the writing of a number had appeared above the man’s head, floating in the air. Wolf pays no heed to it, dismissing it as a peculiar side effect of the Dragon's Blessing.
But he realises it as a curse when he is faced with ending the life of his master in the name of Immortal Severance, and the same words flash mocking across his mind.
He then finds himself awakening from his 3-year slumber once again, in the same well as he did in the past, and the curse prompts him yet again: Reach 100 affinity with Genichiro Ashina or the Divine Heir dies.

Allura’s eyes widened in realisation, her voice trembling with anger. "You can’t possibly mean...?"
Zarkon turned his gaze toward her, amused. "Oh, but I do, Princess. An alliance, sealed through marriage."
Allura’s breath caught in her throat, and for a moment, she was too stunned to speak. "You intend to force me into a farce of a union?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Zarkon’s laugh rumbled through the room once more. "You flatter yourself, Princess. It is not you I seek for this arrangement."
Shiro’s blood ran cold as Zarkon’s gaze slowly shifted to him, a sinister smile curling at the edges of his lips.
"No," Zarkon said with relish. "It is you, Shiro, the leader of Voltron. The symbol and face of the rebellion. You will bond with my son, Lotor"
