“Decided I’m interesting enough to spend more time with?” He teases, applying some band-aids to his wounds. The cuts are superficial and thin, expertly carved; Kidd admires them and the practised hand that made them. He does feel a tinge of regret that they won’t scar.
“Suppose so,” Kidd mumbles.
Trafalgar kisses the corner of his lips, then shuffles over on the bed, rolling on his side and tucking himself into the warmth of Kidd’s side. He feels the dip in the bed and the press of his bony knee against his thighs in a detached, barely-there sort of way.
